AM-  Leave for Nuwara Eliya, en-route visit Kitulgala is a small town situated in the wet zone, west of Sri Lanka The rainforest environment is home to many bird species  and the secondary forest and cultivation at Kitulgala is more open than the pristine woodlands of Sinharaja, and elusive endemic species like Sri lanka Spur-fowlGreen-billed Coucal and Spot-winged Thrush may be easier to see. The location for the Academy Award-winning film The Bridge on the river Kwai can be seen.

PM – Arrive at the Hill Club and relax.

OVERNIGHT – HILL CLUB - NUWARA ELIYA

AM-Early morning visit Horton Plains the only National Park situated in the Hill Country to see the “World’s End” this silent, strange, beautiful  highland 2000m. above sea level is unique in Sri Lanka and is within the Park. Endemic   slender loris and endemic purple monkey are among the important animal species that could be seen in addition to the sambhur and wild boar.There are some endemic avifauna also (Pick-nick breakfast to be arranged).

PM-At leisure or visit the Hakgala botanical gardens, where one ca see plants and trees that thrive in the cooler climates.

OVERNIGHT – HILL CLUB - NUWARA ELIYA

AM – Leave for Sinharaja. Arrive at the Rainforest Edge hotel and relax.

PM –At leisure

OVERNIGHT – RAINFOREST EDGE – KALAWANA

AM -Early morning visit Sinharaja Rain Forest, .(Pick- nick breakfast to be arranged). a World Heritage site and Sri Lanka’s last remaining patch of  virgin rain forest and of the few left in the world,  It is a unique lowland rainforest type in the entire subcontinent This is the jewel in Sri Lanka’s conservation crown, combining high bio diversity with spectacular scenery and very much famous for its endemic bird life

PM – At leisure or Optional afternoon visit of the rainforest.

OVERNIGHT – RAINFOREST EDGE – KALAWANA

AM –Leave for Negombo, en-route do some last minute shopping in Colombo if Desired. Arrive at Ranweli Holiday Village and relax

PM – Afternoon boat trip on the lagoon, an excellent opportunity to see more birds.

OVERNIGHT – RANWELI HOLIDAY VILLAGE – WAIKKAL
